Our Asbestos Repair Process

At ECOS, we handle every asbestos repair project from start to finish, ensuring safety, compliance, and peace of mind. Here’s what you can expect when you choose our experts:

  • Inspection & Testing – Our certified technicians inspect your property and conduct thorough asbestos testing to identify any hazardous materials before work begins.
  • Containment – We seal off the affected areas using specialized barriers and negative air pressure systems to prevent asbestos fibers from spreading.
  • Removal & Abatement – Trained professionals carefully remove asbestos-containing materials following all federal and state safety regulations.
  • Cleaning & Disposal – After removal, we clean the area using HEPA-filtered equipment and dispose of all asbestos materials at approved facilities, keeping your property and the environment safe.
  • Final Clearance – Once the abatement is complete, we conduct a final clearance inspection to confirm the area is free of asbestos and safe for reoccupation.

ASBESTOS TESTING rules are outlined by the State of Colorado as follows:

For homeowners, you need to do an asbestos test if you are going to

  1. Remove more than 32 square feet or
  2. Remove more than 50 linear feet or
  3. Remove more than the equivalent of one 55-gallon drum of any material besides concrete, wood, bricks, or steel.

For commercial clients, you need to test for asbestos if you are going to

  1. Remove more than 160 square feet or
  2. Remove more than 260 linear feet or
  3. Remove more than the equivalent of one 55-gallon drum of any material besides concrete, wood, bricks, or steel.

** Both residential and commercial clients need to conduct asbestos tests if they plan to demolish their building. **
