Understanding Our Boulder Damage Restoration Process

When a pipe bursts, a fire is extinguished, or a roof leak goes unnoticed in your Boulder property, it can be hard to know what will happen next or who will be on site. We follow a clear, step-by-step process so you always know what to expect from the first phone call through the final walkthrough. First we listen carefully to what happened, ask questions about the affected areas, and determine whether there are any immediate safety concerns such as electrical hazards or structural issues. Then we schedule an on-site visit, often the same day, so we can inspect the damage in person and start planning the right damage restoration solution for your home or business.

During the inspection, our technician will take moisture readings, document visible damage, and look for problems that may not be obvious at first, like wet insulation or trapped water in wall cavities. We explain what we find in everyday language and outline the recommended equipment, timeline, and any containment that may be needed. In Boulder and surrounding communities, we also keep local building codes and weather conditions in mind, since cold temperatures, snow, and high winds along the Front Range can affect drying times and repair choices. Once you approve the plan, we begin work and keep you updated at each stage, so there are no surprises as your property moves from emergency response to repair.

Call ECOS immediately before the flood water damage gets worse which will cost you more money to restore. ECOS water damage restoration professionals have over 10 years of industry experience responding to home and office emergencies. ECOS has a live operator on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our operator is typically an owner or manager who will organize a prompt response to your location. We are a reputable company with A+ BBB accreditation.

Because we are based in Boulder, we understand how local weather patterns, snowmelt, and fast-changing storms along the Front Range can affect homes and commercial buildings. We are familiar with common construction types in Boulder County and nearby cities, so we know where moisture can hide behind walls, under flooring, and in crawl spaces. That local knowledge helps us plan an efficient damage restoration strategy that fits both the climate and typical building materials used in this part of Colorado.

ECOS staff understand the devastation and confusion that can come with a flood, fire, or other emergency, so when you call ECOS you will most likely speak with one of the owners or a senior manager to help you best. Once on the job, our technicians and managers will work to keep you fully up to date on the project and to make sure we are meeting your needs and expectations. We can work closely with your insurance to help you pay as little out of pocket as possible. With ECOS Guaranteed Service, you get a one-year guarantee on fire damage and water damage repairs. Meet Our Boulder Team!

Bridget Casey

Bridget is the Office Manager for our Boulder office. She joined ECOS in January of 2016, bringing a strong background in customer support and marketing. Bridget graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 with a degree in history, and immediately began working at a domestic violence shelter in her hometown. After three years, she became the director of development and communications, which honed her customer service and project management skills. Bridget is excited to be a part of this tight-knit team and to help ECOS continue to grow and provide excellent service to the Boulder and Denver area.

As the first point of contact for many callers, Bridget helps gather critical information about the damage to your home or business and quickly connects you with the appropriate project manager. She coordinates scheduling, communicates with insurance representatives, and makes sure our crews have what they need to arrive prepared. Her focus on clear, compassionate communication helps reduce stress for clients during the early stages of a damage restoration service, when things can feel the most overwhelming.

Jonathan Adamson

The Boulder office’s Senior Project Manager is Jonathan, who joined ECOS in July of 2014. Jonathan started with a strong background in construction and joined the restoration industry in 2006. He has extensive experience managing many multi-faceted jobs including asbestos, fire, water, mold, and more, as well as large loss catastrophes across Colorado and the United States. Additionally, Jonathan serves as the asbestos abatement division head, which is an important service line ECOS offers to our customers, even while most other restoration companies do not.

On a typical project, Jonathan will assess the full scope of the loss, explain the recommended steps in plain language, and coordinate crews so that work moves forward with as little disruption as possible. He is used to working in occupied homes, rental properties, and commercial spaces in and around Boulder, and understands how to balance careful containment with keeping parts of a property usable when it is safe to do so. Jonathan also communicates with adjusters and property managers to keep documentation organized, which helps your damage restoration contractor work proceed smoothly from start to finish.

Jonathan leads a skilled team of certified specialists, including:
